More Omarosa-Trump Drama Is Currently Unfolding At The White House

This morning the world was subjected to the latest episode of the tawdry reality television series that is the Trump presidency. Former Apprentice star, longtime Trump confidant, and White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman was escorted — cursing and screaming — from the White House on the orders of Chief of Staf John Kelly.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to claim that Omarosa had resigned of her own volition, but CNN’s April Ryan tweeted out the true story:

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!

While Omarosa’s $179,000 salaried job in the White House was ostensibly Director of Communications for the White House Public Liaison Office, she and the Trump administration have been strangely coy about her actual responsibilities, and she has managed to maintain a low profile, a surprising fact given her outsized personality and flair for theatrics.

It later emerged that Omarosa may have finally grown “fed up” with the overtly racist agenda of the Trump administration, causing a falling out between her and Trump and his bigoted lackeys.

Up until her exit, she was one of the of few people of color serving in the White House. Reportedly, she had issues with Trump’s handling of the Charlottesville incident, in which a peaceful protestor was killed by a Neo-Nazi and the president subsequently said there were “very fine people” on both sides.

Now, April Ryan is teasing that there may be more drama emerging from the White House soon. She tweeted:

Prominent anti-Trump Republican Ana Navarro responded to the Ryan tweet and managed to get a shot in at the president.

She likened today’s lowbrow drama to the popular reality television show Real Housewives but pointed out that the host of that show, Andy Cohen, hasn’t been accused of sexual assault while the “host” of the White House drama, Trump, has been credibly accused by numerous women of everything from sexual harassment to raping a 13-year-old girl.

While it’s a shame that the dignity of the White House has been so greatly diminished, one can’t help but wonder what the drama is that April Ryan is alluding to. Perhaps another major resignation? Or perhaps more details about the Omarosa ousting? There is still no footage available of her vulgar exit from 1600 Pennsylvania, so perhaps that will pop up soon? Whatever it may be, check back here later for more updates.
