Video Just Surfaced Of Trump Promising His Rich Buddies Tax Cuts

A video dating back to just after Trump’s election in November has suddenly surged back into the national consciousness (see video below).

On November 15, 2016, Trump’s spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, told the media that the President-elect would be spending the rest of the evening at his apartment in Trump Tower.

Trump did, however, leave his apartment at 7:30 PM and arrived at the ritzy “21 Club” in midtown Manhattan.

This move incensed NBC’s Hallie Jackson, who took her gripe to Twitter.

Luckily, Jackson learned of Trump’s destination and took the initiative to make a reservation of her own to the 21 Club. When the President-elect arrived, she captured a video of Trump hobnobbing with gown- and suit-clad diners.

The video itself shows Trump being welcomed to thundering applause as he promised to lower taxes for the richest Americans.

“We’ll get your taxes down. Don’t worry about it,” he said.

To be clear, this is a man who ran on a populist platform promising the New York City elite that he would save them money. And now, Republicans are poised to pass tax reform that they are billing as a boon to the middle class, even though it will actually raise taxes on those making less than $75,000 per year by 2027.

If there was any doubt as to who Trump is actually in office to help, this video should assuage any doubt.
