The Republicans can lie about their tax “reform” legislation as much as they like. They can claim that it will help the very same middle class that it’s engineered to grind into the dust. They can claim it will stimulate economic growth despite all of the studies that refute that contention. They can even claim that they actually care about anyone not part of the top 1%. Their disingenuous talking points don’t change the harsh reality.
The GOP tax bill is nothing but a massive handout to the hyper-wealthy in the form of unearned and unnecessary tax cuts, and average American families across the country will have to bear the brunt of the damage. Republicans are sacrificing social programs that are crucial to the survival of millions of Americans so that billionaires can afford a few more private jets and helicopters.
Informed voters across the country are calling their Senators and asking them to block the bill. Democrats are coming out en masse in staunch opposition to it. Now, a new critical voice has joined the conversation.
Former Mexican President and outspoken Trump opponent Vicente Fox Quesada has taken to Twitter to slam the president for pushing the regressive tax bill. He pointed out that Donald and his family will save a million dollars from the legislation, and then amended that number to billions.
Fox Quesada isn’t afraid to point out the blunt fact that Trump is only ever motivated by self-interest and is willing to hurt millions of hardworking Americans to help himself and his bumbling, immoral children.
He also isn’t afraid to call the President of the United States of America a “greedy turd,” a particularly succinct and humorous moniker for our vile leader.
Fox Quesada tweeted:
.@realDonaldTrump and his family could save up to 1 million dollars with his tax reform. He isn’t even trying to hide the fact that he’s a greedy turd.

It’s actually, billions! Nepotism, greediness. He’s working for himself and himself only. America doesn’t even appear in his top 50 priorities. https://t.co/XNvedTwbSL

The tweets are just the latest barrage in the ongoing war of words between Fox Quesada and Trump. The former’s wit far outmatches the latter’s, and Trump always comes out looking bad in these interactions. Most likely, Donald won’t respond to these tweets because if did he’d be forced to dig into the details of the tax bill, and would be hard-pressed to defend the massive gift he’s handing out to himself and his kin.
