With Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation closing in on the Trump campaign’s possible collusion with the Russian government to influence the outcome of the 2016 election, Trump took to Twitter today to rant about the Democrats’ obsession with holding him accountable.
Since the first day I took office, all you hear is the phony Democrat excuse for losing the election, Russia, Russia,Russia. Despite this I have the economy booming and have possibly done more than any 10 month President. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

George Takei, iconic Star Trek actor and dependable Trump troll, saw the President’s juvenile take and quickly spoke out.
Donald, just a reminder about those pesky, hard-to-spell legal words: "subpoena" is spelled with an "oe" and "indictment" has a "c" in it. I imagine you'll tweeting about both of those not long from now. https://t.co/OQyifRGy03

Trump may think that denigrating Mueller’s Russia investigation – which has been circling the White House for months – by writing “Russia, Russia,Russia, [sic]” in a patronizing tone will minimizes its importance. In actuality, the probe has already resulted in three serious federal charges being levied against former Trump campaign officials, including Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, and George Papadopoulos.
Other high-profile Trump advisers, aides, and surrogates have already been questioned by Mueller’s team, including Jared Kushner, Michael Flynn, Hope Hicks, and Sam Clovis. The White House is apparently “seething” at the special counsel’s quick progress.
Trump may find find solace in posting angry rants about the Russia probe, but no amount of unhinged complaints are going to delay the investigation that is undoubtedly keeping him up at night.
