The President of the United States took to Twitter this morning to rail against his favorite whipping boy, news media giant CNN, for making a mistake in their coverage of the Trump-Russia investigation and ongoing scandal.
Yesterday, CNN reported that Donald Trump Jr. had received an email on December 4th, 2016, which contained an encryption key to access documents from Wikileaks, a week before the documents were released publicly. It turns out that CNN had made a minor error in its reporting and the email was actually sent on the 16th.
While the error does debunk the assertion that Donald Trump Jr. and his father were emailed access to the hacked DNC documents before the rest of the world saw it, it does nothing to discredit the mountain of suspicious decisions, meetings, and emails that already implicate the President and his idiot son in an election-stealing scandal of epic proportions.
Which is why the President is trying so desperately to convince you otherwise:
Fake News CNN made a vicious and purposeful mistake yesterday. They were caught red handed, just like lonely Brian Ross at ABC News (who should be immediately fired for his “mistake”). Watch to see if @CNN fires those responsible, or was it just gross incompetence?

CNN’S slogan is CNN, THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS. Everyone knows this is not true, that this could, in fact, be a fraud on the American Public. There are many outlets that are far more trusted than Fake News CNN. Their slogan should be CNN, THE LEAST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS!

The President trashes the media when their reporting is true and when they make errors – which clearly show what his real intention is.
But unfortunately for Trump, all the tweets in the world aren’t going to reverse the indictments of three of his campaign members – and they certainly aren’t going to stop Mueller from closing in for the kill.
