President Trump shocked the nation on Monday morning when he decided to use a meeting with Native American veterans to make a racist joke about Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MASS) by once again calling her “Pocahontas,” mocking her Native American heritage and showing his disgusting disdain for America’s minorities.

!!! Trump, at event honouring Native American code talkers, calls Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas." Full quote:
"You were here long before any of us were here. Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas."

Not only did he use a racial slur to demean a sitting member of the United States Senate, he further insulted the veterans by holding the ceremony in front of a picture of genocidal racist President Andrew Jackson, who signed the Indian Removal Act and drove thousands of Native Americans from their homes to their deaths.
The Navajo Code Talkers played a pivotal role in encoding Allied communications during the Second World War and deserve so much better than to be insulted to their faces by a blatant white supremacist who venerates the worst actions and people in America’s bloody history.
