Tonight at the White House tree lighting ceremony, President Trump suffered a familiar self-inflicted wound.
By constantly bragging about his giant imaginary crowds and comparing himself to his predecessor — a man whose shoes he is not fit to look at much less fill — Trump has invited unnecessary scrutiny to a game he cannot win.
Because of his bluster, photographers could not help grabbing shots of the many empty seats at tonight’s ceremony — a stark contrast to the packed crowd from President Obama’s ceremony a year ago. (Photos below.)
