The UCLA Student’s Father Just Responded To Trump’s Latest Twitter Attack

Trump spent his Sunday harassing the father of LiAngelo Ball, an American student recently detained in China. LiAngelo’s father, LaVar Ball took the time to respond in a phone call with ABC Good Morning America Producer, Michael Del Moro. Ball tried to defuse the situation, attempting to avoid a Twitter fight with the tweeter-in-chief.

LaVar Ball then pointed out that Trump seems to be looking for a gold star for doing the basics of his job as President.

Trump negotiated LiAngelo Ball’s release along with two other UCLA basketball players with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the tail end of a whirlwind 12-day, five country Asia trip. Maybe he’s still feeling the effects of jet lag, but he seems to still be playing hardball like he’s still at the negotiating table.

Almost a full week after securing the American students’ freedom, Trump is still calling attention to the incident and, of course, the part he played in it. Although this incident – which effectively amounts to a minor hiccup on the world stage – has gotten blown out of proportion, the President will do anything to distract from any of his impending disasters, like a doomed tax plan and Mueller’s Russia probe.

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!
