A Teen Roy Moore Dated Just Produced The Hard Evidence

Serial child molester Roy Moore’s campaign is chugging along despite the long list of credible allegations that have been leveled against the Republican candidate. The GOP has closed ranks around the predator, intent on ensuring that the open Senate seat is secured by a Republican, even if that Republican has been accused of sexually assaulting numerous women and attempting to rape a teenager.

Moore originally said he knew some of the girls and denied any sexual misconduct. Recently though, he has made a stunning reversal and now claims that he never met any of the girls and doesn’t know them. His signature in a yearbook from the time was the first piece of direct evidence that he knew one of the girls. Now, more evidence has emerged.

The Washington Post reports that Debbie Wesson Gibson, who claims to have dated Moore when she 17 and he was his thirties, has uncovered a high school scrapbook that contains Roy Moore’s signature along with a brief note.

“Happy graduation Debbie. I wanted to give you this card myself. I know that you’ll be a success in anything you do. Roy,” the message reads.

When reports of the relationship with Gibson first surfaced, Moore, claimed he did not remember dating her but that she was a “good girl.” He has since denied knowing her at all, so the note provides compelling evidence that Moore is lying.

At first, Gibson was reluctant about coming forward with the scrapbook because she’s been receiving threats from Moore’s supporters and feared the new proof would only increase the risk to her person. When she heard Moore’s recent claim that he’s never met her, she felt compelled to contact The Post. She watched a video of Moore denying knowing her and his other accuers.

“At 34 minutes and 56 seconds into the video, he says, unequivocally, I did not know any of them. In that moment, it changed my perspective. I knew he was a liar,” Gibson said, discussing the video in which Moore denies knowing her and his other accusers.

“He called me a liar Roy Moore made an egregious mistake to attack that one thing — my integrity,” she said to The Post.

Gibson also confirmed that the Roy Moore signature found in Beverly Young Nelson’s yearbook matches what she knows to be Moore’s handwriting. Nelson claims that Moore sexually assaulted her when she was 16. Moore and his team have claimed that the signature isn’t his and that the evidence is fake. It’s narrative that many of his supporters have seized upon.

“I just couldn’t imagine him doing something like that. And then when I saw the interview from Beverly, and I saw his handwriting in her yearbook, my heart just sank. And when I saw what I knew to be Roy Moore’s handwriting, I just began to sob openly,” said Gibson.

It took great courage for all of these women to come forward with their stories, and they deserve to be believed. They have nothing to gain from these claims other than exposing the truth, and they’re risking a great deal in the process. This scrapbook signature is just the latest piece of evidence to emerge showing Moore is unfit to be a Senator, but it likely won’t be the last.
