Former Tea Party Congressman and infamous right-wing talking head Joe Walsh took to Twitter this afternoon to complain about how a football player stood for the Mexican anthem and not the American anthem – and immediately got smacked down by the
Five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XLVII champion Marshawn Lynch of the Oakland Raiders chose to stand for the Mexican national anthem during Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, which was played in Mexico City as part of the NFL’s new international game series.
Lynch earned the ire of President Trump and of angry right-wingers like Walsh, who were quick to take to Twitter to make shamelessly racist and unwarranted attacks against Lynch.

Social media was quick to take issue with Walsh, who rudely insinuated that Lynch was “uneducated” even though he graduated from Cal-Berkely with a degree in social welfare and is making his way through graduate school.
