A Pennsylvania Republican was busted for literally wearing his homophobia on his sleeve when he caused an embarrassing stir today after one of his colleagues for touching him on his arm.
Rep. Daryl Metcalfe then launched into a bizarre rant about how he was a “heterosexual” and didn’t want any of that gay stuff to rub off on him.
“Representative Bradford. Look, I’m a heterosexual. I have a wife, I love my wife. I don’t like men, as you might. But stop touching me all the time. It’s like keep your hands to yourself. Like, if you want to touch somebody, you have people on your side of the aisle that might like it. I don’t.”
His colleagues began visibly cringing and laughing at the furious little man. “We are officially off the rails. My intent was just to beg for your permission for about 30 seconds” laughed the arm toucher, Rep. Bradford.
It is supremely ironic for a Republican like Metcalfe to be taught an important lesson in personal space and consent just days before their party, which elected a rapist to the presidency a year ago, elects a pedophile to the Senate.
Hopefully, Metcalfe will take this incident to heart and will treat the women he works with the same respect for their personal space that he demands from his coworkers.
