Prominent Tea Partier Just Stunned Social Media With A Dire Warning About Trump Firing Mueller

With Fox News and the rest of the right-wing news cabal furiously prepping the way for President Trump to fire his arch-nemesis Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller over the cardinal sin of hiring staff with pre-existing political opinions and reading public email from a government-owned server, one conservative talk show host has broken ranks and leaped to Mueller’s defense.

Former Congressman Joe Walsh, the one who’s a member of the Tea Party, not The Eagles, went on Twitter today and said exactly what he thought should happen if Trump decides to get rid of the man whom he sees as the bane of his existence.

If Walsh, who has held a raft of controversial positions throughout his career, both in Congress and in broadcasting, realizes this, one has to wonder what the problem the rest of the right-wing nut jobs on TV and radio have with grasping the concept that the President can’t fire the person investigating him. Is it that they are all too young to remember Watergate and the famous “Saturday Night Massacre” where President Nixon fired Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox?

Some former government officials of the Republican persuasion have urged the President to refrain from firing Mueller, however, with former Bush Ethics Chief Richard Painter weighing in on the email accusations today:

Former Obama transition team members expressed their positions on the matter as well:

It remains to be seen whether any other members of Trump’s right-wing cheerleaders in the media will see fit to put their country over their party’s agenda of giving control of the government to the wealthy, but at least one Tea-Partier has decided that the law matters, even if he did have to be sued to get him to pay his child support.

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!
