The embarrassing scandal of Celebrity Apprentice star and Donald Trump’s close confidant Omarosa Manigault’s unceremonious departure from the White House continues to unfold.
Earlier this morning, ABC host Robin Roberts became a viral sensation after she laughingly dismissed Omarosa’s departure with a “Bye, Felicia!”

The use of the popular verbal meme prompted the video to go viral on social media – and quickly prompted a furious response from the embattled woman herself.
Speaking to Inside Edition, Omarosa said “That was petty. It’s a black woman civil war.”
Perhaps it was petty, but calling it a “civil war” is a bit much. Nobody knows what Omarosa actually did during her time at the White House aside from use the grounds for photo-ops and collect a six-figure salary. The mocking is well deserved.
Reports by CNN contributor April D. Ryan indicate that Omarosa did not take kindly to the request for her resignation by Chief of Staff John Kelly; she was allegedly removed from the White House grounds by security after she was barred from access to Trump in the Oval Office.
The dismissal marks the nearly universal purging of the original Trump crew. White nationalist Steven Miller and Hope Hicks are one of the few left standing; Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, Anthony Scaramucci, Sean Spicer, Reince Preibus and Michael Flynn have all been ousted in the past ten months.
