If you want to know just how much Trump fans actually care about our nation and supporting its endeavors, look no further than the reception that a gold-medal winning Olympic skier received after she dared to criticize the President.
Lindsey Vonn is a top skier who has won gold medals for the United States in both the Olympics and world skiing championships and plans to compete in the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Recently, she announced that she would not be visiting the White House if she won any gold medals and would not be representing President Trump in the Olympics.
“I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony. I want to represent our country well. I don’t think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that” said Vonn in an interview.
Tragically, Vonn injured her back last night in a competition in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
The American star crossed the finish line in obvious distress, in 24th place and 1.56 seconds behind the winner, and slumped to the snow. She compressed her back on the fifth gate, according to U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
The response from Trump fans was disgusting, to say the least – if not sadly predictable.

One would think that representing our nation and bringing it glory on the international stage would be enough to look past her political affiliation, but it appears that in the hell world of 2017, everything is reduced to petty, spiteful tribalism and all the primitive cruelty that accompanies it.
