The mystery of President Trump’s rambling and seemingly disconnected morning Twitter rants has finally been solved. Matthew Gertz, a senior fellow at Media Matters For America, decided to test out a theory this morning and discovered that the subjects of Trump’s Twitter storm matched up perfectly with this morning’s episode of FOX and Friends.
Which means the President of the United States is just live-tweeting FOX News shows almost every morning.
The president is tweeting. Gonna match what I can against Fox & Friends. Remember, he TiVos, so times will vary.

This morning’s episode began with a discussion on Democratic obstruction…quickly followed by a Trump tweet complaining about Democrats planning to obstruct his tax cuts for the wealthy bill.

At 6:29 AM, the discussion on FOX & Friends turned to – of course- Hillary Clinton and their usual efforts to discredit former FBI Director James Comey, and was followed by a Trump tweet about James Comey.

It is mind-boggling to see the President of the United States, with access to the world’s most sophisticated intelligence-gathering apparatus, constantly rely on FOX and Friends to get his news.
The fact that he’s engaging in the digital version of an old man yelling at the television puts his mental state and his fitness for office into further question. FOX News is nothing but far-right wing propaganda, and seeing the President take their “coverage” so seriously gives the ideologues at FOX a dangerous amount of control over the President and this nation – and that is very bad news for all of us.
