Comey’s Biblical quote is well chosen. President Trump and his campaign team’s appalling disregard for the integrity of our institutions, for the principles of democracy he swore to uphold and the moral foundation of our nation cannot be allowed to go unpunished – and it appears that the wheels of justice are finally in motion.
The firing of James Comey as FBI director and the exposure of Trump’s obvious efforts to obstruct justice prompted the formation of Special Counsel Mueller’s team in the first place, so Comey must be feeling very satisfied today as the fruits of his labor finally begin to bloom.
