Hannity Just Attacked Ben Sasse To Defend Trump. Sasse’s Response Is Perfect

This evening, the already exasperated Republican Senator, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, was having none of Trump henchman Sean Hannity’s bullying tweets.

One in a recent trickle of Republicans less willing to cower before the Bully-in-Chief and his Fox propaganda machine, Sasse fired back at Hannity: “Some of us still believe in the Constitution.”

The bombastic FOX News host had attacked Sasse for calling out President Trump’s utter disregard for the First Amendment yesterday, expressing regret for having supported Sasse’s campaign and calling the lawmaker “useless.”

Hannity’s weak insult came just an hour and a half before his sycophantic interview with the foundering president.

Sounding much like the kind of Soviet-block dictator who helped him steal the election, President Trump tweeted yesterday that the FCC should rescind NBC News’ license because of a report that three sources inside the White House had personally heard Trump demand the military increase its nuclear stockpile tenfold.

Alarmed, Ben Sasse set a limit on his support for the wannabe autocrat who currently occupies the Oval Office, saying, “Mr. President: Are you recanting of the Oath you took on Jan. 20 to preserve, protect, and defend the 1st Amendment?”

However, Hannity’s tweet made it clear that he puts Trump before the Constitution.

If more Republican lawmakers join their Democratic colleagues in demanding the president uphold his oath of office, Trump will inevitably fail to comply.  However, If he committed perjury when he vowed to defend the Constitution, that could provide grounds for impeachment or for removal of the president via the 25th Amendment.

As Trump’s approval dwindles to 32%, more Republican lawmakers may be willing — out of sheer opportunism, if not moral courage — to take a stand against the Deplorable-in-Chief.

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!
