Progressive champion Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MASS) took to Twitter this morning to condemn President Trump for his appallingly sexist attack on Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in response to her demand that he resign over the nineteen sexual harassment, assault, and misconduct accusations that have been made against him.
Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!

Warren called out the President’s attack for what it was – a spiteful and petty attempt to insinuate that Senator Gillibrand had demeaned herself in pursuit of campaign contributions and issued a stern challenge:
Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you're picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted. https://t.co/mYJtBZfxiu

Senator Warren is no stranger to sexism from decrepit Republican politicians; earlier this year, she was literally silenced in the Senate by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for her passionate objection to the nomination of notorious white supremacist Jeff Sessions to the position of Attorney General.
His condescending words of “but she persisted” became a rallying cry for liberals everywhere.
It’s looking like Trump’s disgusting tweet – on the day that Alabama chooses between a civil rights champion and a pedophile – is going to another one of those signature moments in American political discourse and the nascent revolution against sexual predators in American society at large.
