Bush’s Speechwriter Just Issued A Dire Warning To Trump And Republicans In Wake Of Moore Loss

David Frum is one of the few “never Trump” Republicans who stuck to their guns after the nightmare of a Trump presidency became a reality. After making his name as George W. Bush’s principal speechwriter, Frum has been using his pulpit as Senior Editor of The Atlantic to preach against the dangers of Trumpism to the Republican party and the nation as a whole.

With some of Frum’s predictions about the demise of the Republican party under this shambolic presidency made manifest in last night’s loss of the supposedly Democrat-proof Alabama Senate seat, senior party leaders may be well advised to pay attention to some predictive statistics Mr. Frum offers in his latest tweet.

On a day when President Trump hit the lowest approval numbers of any president in polling history, with a 32% favorable rating in today’s Monmouth poll, down from 40% just two months ago, the Con-Mander-In-Chief’s positive numbers are below the level of the four “ultra-unpopular” presidents that Frum refers to in his tweet.

With only 28 seats to turn and a raft of representatives deciding that they would rather retire than run for re-election in this dismal midterm environment for the GOP, Frum is telling Republicans that if they haven’t started panicking yet, they had better get started!

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people.

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!
